This policy explains what personal data Deacan collects through this website, why we collect it and how it is handled.

Who we are

Deacan is a specialist Planview consulting practice based in Galway, Ireland. For any question about this policy or your personal data, contact us at info@deacan.com.

What we collect

We only collect information you choose to send us through the enquiry forms on this website:

  • Your name, work email address and, if you provide it, your telephone number
  • Your company name, website and country
  • Details of your enquiry, requirements, timeframe and any documents you attach
  • The page the enquiry was submitted from and the date of submission

We do not ask for special category data, and you should not include confidential or sensitive information in a website enquiry.

Why we use it

We use the information to respond to your enquiry, prepare a quote or recommendation, and to keep a record of the correspondence. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to a business enquiry you have initiated, together with your consent given when submitting the form.

How it is stored

Enquiries are stored in a secure hosted database that only authorised Deacan personnel can access, and are also sent to a Deacan email address so we can reply. Any document you upload is stored privately and is not publicly accessible.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry records only for as long as needed to deal with the enquiry and any resulting business relationship, and to meet our record-keeping obligations. You can ask us to delete your enquiry at any time.

Sharing

We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for marketing. We use service providers for website hosting, database storage and email delivery, who process data on our instructions. Where a Planview product licence is involved, we will tell you before sharing your details with Planview.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal data, to object to processing and to data portability. Contact us at info@deacan.com and we will respond within one month. You may also complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission.

Cookies

This website uses only the cookies and local storage needed to remember your cookie preferences. Optional analytics or marketing technologies are not used unless you consent to them. See our Cookie Policy for details.
